KC12 and KA12 Twelve-Ton Crimping Dies
Greenlee is pleased to introduce new crimping dies for use on copper and aluminum color-coded lugs and splices. These new dies produce a hexagonal crimp that is the style preferred by many customers. They may be used with all brands of 12-ton crimping tools that are designed to accept industry "U" style dies. |

ES25 Battery-Powered ACSR Cutter
The new Greenlee ES25 makes the task of cutting tough ACSR and other steel reinforced cables quick and easy. Simply place the jaw opening around the cable, swing the cutting blade into place, and then pull the trigger. The ES25 does the rest. ACSR type cables through 636 kcmil can be cut with the ES25. The ES25 is capable of making approximately 50 cuts of Grosbeak or 120 cuts of Merlin on one battery charge. And the ES25 is fast. Each cut takes about 8 seconds or less. The forward/reverse lever and the trigger on the ES25 are all operated with one hand allowing the operator to position and steady the cable with the other hand. The rugged gear drive system assures long life and smooth operation. An integral circuit breaker protects the motor if the tool becomes overloaded. |

NR2 Nut Runner
Fairmont recently introduced the NR2 Nut Runner, an accessory used for installing and tightening the larger hardware that is typically used by power utility transmission crews. The double-ended NR2 Nut Runner installs pole hardware in the following three sizes: 1-5/16, 1-1/8 and 1-inch square nuts. Fairmont also has the NR1 Nut Runner for the following four sizes: 3/4-inch, 13/16-inch, 5/8-inch and 1-inch square nuts. “Fairmont is currently the only manufacturer to offer a single socket that can be used on the three key sizes used by transmission crews” said Jim Eisele, product manager. EK425 Pouch
Fairmont will soon begin shipping EK425 tools in the EK425 pouch. The EK425 Pouch provides a durable carrying case that can be hung inside a bucket using the bucket hook holes. Crimping jaws do not need to be removed when storing the tool and the velcro closures keep the tool clean and dry. |

ES85
Battery-Powered Communications Cable Cutter
The
new Greenlee ES85 makes the task of cutting large communications cable
simple and very easy. The ES85 features a heavy-duty motor for long
life and extra sharp hardened blades to make cuts that don’t
pull individual wires and don’t crush the cable. Each cut takes
only about eight seconds. Telephone companies and contractors who
are installing or removing underground and overhead telephone cables
